Result Link Grouping

Instead of embedding their results in our site, SearchTempest links you directly to results at craigslist*. Why?

Choosing how to group your links offers several methods to view your results - you can choose how granular (and thereby numerous) you want your links to be:

Large Area

As the name implies, we will show you the fewest links possible covering the largest possible distance. There are some caveats to this:

• These links use a large search distance to filter results by location, which means the large search distance of each link will overlap that of the other links. As a result, you may see some repeated listings/results with each link.

• When manually selecting cities, grouping by Large Area is not enabled. Since Large Areas use only a search distance to filter results by location, we cannot include or exclude specific cities; so your links will be grouped by Small Areas instead when manually selecting cities.

Small Area

We condense the results into groups of specific cities. With these smaller areas we can avoid overlap, and it allows you to start by checking results nearby, before looking elsewhere.

State/Province

We will group your results into states. Some states are larger than others, and may need to be subdivided. By expanding the cities list next to each link, you can see exactly which cities will be included.

City

This will split your results into separate links for each city.
